Q. Does getting a quote from A&H Wayside Furniture obligate me in any way?
A. No, getting quote from us is merely a convenience for our customers.
Q. Why are there no prices listed on the merchandise?
A. As a result of our manufacturers regulations, some merchandise pricing is not displayed on our website. However all you need to do to obtain a price is simply call in and get a quote or chat on line with one of our knowledgeable sales staff.
Q. Will my transaction be confidential?
A. Absolutely! A&H Wayside Furniture does not in any way sell or distribute your personal information to anyone.
Q. How does the order process work?
A. You simply call in and get a quote, when you decide to purchase from A&H Wayside Furniture please be sure and know the manufacturer and style number of the pieces you wish to order. Once you have given your complete mailing address and ship to address if it should be different, then you place 1/2 down of the merchandise total on either a credit card or you may mail in a personal check or money order. We then process the order, and send it to the manufacturer. You will receive copies of your order that you will need to review for order accuracy and sign and return one copy to your sales person. Once we receive the merchandise from the manufacturer we will contact you for final payment. Then the delivery service will contact you to set-up a delivery time that is convenient for you. You will need to pay the delivery service the delivery fee you were quoted at the time you placed your order. The delivery service only accepts money order, cashier's check or certified check. Time frames for delivery can vary depending on the customer's location and distance from the delivery service.
Q. Who will deliver my order?
A. If your order comes with white glove delivery it will be delivered to you by one of our contracted delivery specialists. The delivery specialists will call you to arrange a delivery time, deliver your order and set-up the merchandise in your home. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT SCHEDULE THE DELIVERIES. DELIVERIES ARE SCHEDULED BY OUR CONTRACTED DELIVERY SPECIALISTS.
If your order is drop-shipped from the manufacturer, your order will be delivered to your door step only and will not be unboxed or set-up. You will need to move and put the merchandise together yourself. If the box is damaged you should refuse delivery of that item , note it on the Bill of Lading, and notify A&H Wayside Furniture of the refused merchandise.
Q. How long will it take to get my merchandise?
A. Normally, orders are shipped within 5-16 weeks depending on manufacturer's availability. Even though we average 5-10 weeks for delivery, you need to allow 5-16 weeks just in case. We do not have the merchandise in stock. When you place your order with us, we then order directly from the factory. This is the only way we can afford to sell at such discounted prices. Sometimes it takes a while to get the merchandise out of the factory's warehouse, and then scheduled to come to your state.
Q. What if there is damage to my furniture?
A. Any damages should be reported at the time of delivery. While we have very little damaged merchandise, transfer and slippage does occur on rare occasions. Therefore, be sure to inspect your furniture upon delivery. Any damages should be noted on the BILL OF LADING or the DELIVERY SLIP. If you do not note the damage on the bill of lading or delivery slip exactly what the damage is and refuse the item that is damaged, then A&H Wayside Furniture, nor the delivery company, will be responsible for repairing or replacing any damaged merchandise. ALL DAMAGE MUST BE NOTED ON THE BILL OF LADING AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY AND REFUSED, OR A&H WAYSIDE FURNITURE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGE. As a remedy for any damage, a "touch up" to your satisfaction will be performed on site, or the item will be returned to the warehouse where it will be repaired to your satisfaction, or it will be replaced altogether. FOR ANY REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENTS, PLEASE ALLOW FOR ADDITIONAL 6 to 16 WEEKS FOR DELIVERY.
Q. What about manufacturer's warranties?
A. Please contact A&H Wayside Furniture for any offered warranties through the manufacturer.
